ASB - Halal or Haram?

why suddenly I bring up this topic?
I have read dozen of website arguing about the status
Simon said "ASB is haram", Simon said "ASB is halal" and going on going on

For me is simple, up to the individual....
there is 1 of my friend, he dont want to buy any house because he said that all bank do riba so he wont buy until he got money to buy house with cash.
So it is his choice to rent a house with more than 500 because he dont want to buy house....

As long as there is a Hong Leong/Public/May together with BANK word there all the same no matter if you insert the word islamic or not
what i understand about islamic method is "no extra money" in the loan.
Mean if I lend you RM1, then even you pay me 5 years after the loan still remain RM1.

So if people keep arguing that this halal or not, then you should be like my friend. Do not take any loan in the bank.....car/house/or even saving money in bank
Keep your money inside your tabung.

KUALA LUMPUR 13 Jun – Fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh Jabatan Mufti Negeri Selangor bahawa pelaburan dalam Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) dan Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) sebagai haram adalah tidak tepat serta mengelirukan.
ASN dan ASB merupakan dana pelaburan yang diuruskan oleh Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd. (ASNB), anak syarikat Permodalan Nasional Bhd. (PNB).
Presiden dan Ketua Eksekutif PNB, Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman berkata, semua adalah jelas bahawa dana pelaburan yang diuruskan oleh PNB mematuhi syariah dan disahkan oleh Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim).
“Jawatan Kuasa Fatwa Kebangsaan yang bersidang pada Februari 2008 telah memutuskan bahawa hukum skim pelaburan ASN dan ASB adalah harus.
“Maka kami berpegang kepada kenyataan tersebut dan sedia menerangkan skim pelaburan kami kepada mana-mana majlis agama negeri yang masih kurang faham.
“Semua pelaburan kami bebas daripada unsur arak, judi dan sumber was-was. Oleh itu, pelabur yang beragama Islam tidak perlu risau dengan kenyataan mengelirukan tersebut,” katanya selepas mengumumkan agihan pendapatan ASD di sini hari ini.
Beliau mengulas tentang surat pekeliling bertarikh 12 Mei 2011 yang dikeluarkan Jabatan Mufti Negeri Selangor dan disiarkan menerusi laman sesawang http://www.islamituindah.my.
Hamad Kama Piah berkata, perkara seperti ini sudah beberapa kali dibangkitkan sejak beberapa tahun lalu berikutan setiap negeri mempunyai fatwa yang berbeza-beza.
Jelasnya, isu haram mula timbul apabila PNB mempunyai pegangan dalam Malayan Banking Bhd. (Maybank) dan dikaitkan dengan perbankan konvensional.
“Mereka di luar sana kena faham, bahawa Maybank juga pengendali perbankan berteraskan syariah Islam terbesar di rantau ini menerusi Maybank Islamik.
“Saya harap isu ini tidak diputarbelitkan sehingga mengelirukan masyarakat. Kami ingin menegaskan di sini bahawa pelaburan ASN dan ASB halal dan harus,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, ketika dihubungi Utusan Malaysia hari ini, Jabatan Mufti Negeri Selangor mengesahkan ada mengeluarkan fatwa dan surat tersebut kepada sebuah pengendali laman sesawang.
Katanya, fatwa itu diputuskan menerusi Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Selangor ke 2/2011 pada April lalu.
Bagaimanapun, surat berkenaan dikeluarkan hanya untuk simpanan peribadi pengendali laman sesawang berkenaan dan bukannya untuk disiarkan kepada umum.
“Kami telah mengarahkan pengendali laman sesawang islamituindah untuk menarik balik siaran surat itu,” kata jurucakap jabatan tersebut.

How time flies with F1 speed..... :)
Few things happen in life, sad (more sad) than happy....but life goes on....

Welcome 2013, but again future not exist yet....
so plan and hope is always in human mind and life
so my hope and plan is for a healthy life, enjoy my life with my family mmm what's else...better muslimah of course (really hope I can be a better muslimah forever)
plan for more trip.....so dont expect on more saving but it's ok.....life is short....
HOPEFULLY we can move to our new cribs by this year.....

I think that's all hahaha......for now.....
Job - mmmm not in my paln as it is always be the same....but looking forward for my mother hood.
Dont know why but career is not in the way right now....want to get new job but not the time yet....
when the time come I already too old for new challenges hahaha.....

but who care, as long as I received payment every month, that's fine with me....
Wish and pray that my husband will get new job with better payment, complete his master study so that his wife can rest from financial planning and spend her money for shopping hahahaha.....

ASTRO SUCKS

Salam,

Just to make an anounment to All the reader who are plan to change their old astro to beyond.
Pls be an extra careful when you want to change it.
1. Make sure that the dearler/ or so call whatever that come to your home to inform immediately the headquater to remove the old smartcard to new smartcard.
2. If you are doing auto-debit directly to your CC pls check your astro bil and make sure astro did not charge you double

I try to setle this smartcard things for almost 6 months from the time they change my astro. It is total pathetic, stupid and suck, even I can say government system are more advanced that Astro had.
Astro charge me 2 month double charge due to their stupidity and even I need to call them 3 times repeating the same things over and over again. And due to this I cancel the auto debit and pay through maybank2u the amount I suppose to pay and will not take care any extra charges they put in the bill.

And today I checked my bil and Astro charge me extra 80ringgit for unreturned smart card. I really really laugh with their stupidity. I had sign the return form showing I have return all the components. It's really shows that their system is really sucks and believe me I wont give a damn with this things and will not call them to fix the issue. I just hope that a new satelit TV will come in and I will be the first person to register in. The reason why their customer service and system still in a very very low level due to no competitor to challenge their system. They dont give a damn because every malaysian will turn to them as we dont have a choice!

So people out there, pls pls and pls, think twice before you want to change from old astro to Beyond.
Pls make sure that you are really checking your bil to make sure that what happen to me is not happenning to you.For those who doing CC auto pay pls at least do check your bil. Ciao
