ASTRO SUCKS

Salam,

Just to make an anounment to All the reader who are plan to change their old astro to beyond.
Pls be an extra careful when you want to change it.
1. Make sure that the dearler/ or so call whatever that come to your home to inform immediately the headquater to remove the old smartcard to new smartcard.
2. If you are doing auto-debit directly to your CC pls check your astro bil and make sure astro did not charge you double

I try to setle this smartcard things for almost 6 months from the time they change my astro. It is total pathetic, stupid and suck, even I can say government system are more advanced that Astro had.
Astro charge me 2 month double charge due to their stupidity and even I need to call them 3 times repeating the same things over and over again. And due to this I cancel the auto debit and pay through maybank2u the amount I suppose to pay and will not take care any extra charges they put in the bill.

And today I checked my bil and Astro charge me extra 80ringgit for unreturned smart card. I really really laugh with their stupidity. I had sign the return form showing I have return all the components. It's really shows that their system is really sucks and believe me I wont give a damn with this things and will not call them to fix the issue. I just hope that a new satelit TV will come in and I will be the first person to register in. The reason why their customer service and system still in a very very low level due to no competitor to challenge their system. They dont give a damn because every malaysian will turn to them as we dont have a choice!

So people out there, pls pls and pls, think twice before you want to change from old astro to Beyond.
Pls make sure that you are really checking your bil to make sure that what happen to me is not happenning to you.For those who doing CC auto pay pls at least do check your bil. Ciao

Kitchen aids or Kitchen aid?
Hehehehe you can call it as aids as well because in Malaysia the price is in the range of rm1500 to rm2500.
What the hxxx! that's not including the shipment la and what so ever, just for the 27 pound mixer price only.
Other alternate brand is Kenwood, but the truth is, it doesn't cheap at all. The cheapest I did survey is around rm1100. Yaa you can buy Pensonic handmixer which cost around rm53 where the second time you turn it on, you can see some smoke coming out hahaha......not to show that the mixer is bad but the brand itself prove that they sold very2 cheap product with very2 low quality. So what do you expect from it.

So what is the news related to this Kitchenaid to me? well well I just bought it and I am dying of waiting when I can get this tool. I had dreaming of it since I saw Nigella Lawson using this amazing gadget to bake her cake, meringue and what so ever with this gadget.

So dont be so jealous of me hehehe....I bought this amazing gadget with the cost of 179.90USD.....

Much much more cheaper than you can thought it would be. But the good price come with additional responsible which I must always used the special plug due to it is coming from US and the power here is different from their electrical stuff. But hey who cares, if you can get item that cost u like 1/3 or 1/4 from price in msia I think it is worth it to buy and the extra responsibility will always be the 1st priority in my live hahaha....With this, I hope I can try my macaron resepi soon. Dying to taste the thing but here in north site, it is quite difficult to get people who made and sold it. I think due to it's ingredient and price, that cause people to think twice whether it is worth to made and sell it. Also dying to try my tart resepi (just completed my tart class last Sunday, and my in laws told me that my tart's taste diliciious....) cant wait to do it again and let's my mom to taste it. It is very simple resepi, no rolling, no bean baking (a method to bake the tart skin) but I think the purpose of bean baking method is to get the thin and crispy tart skin - if your dont used this method your tart skin will expand because of the egg used in the batter, but in my class the teacher just press and press  and press and after that bake......very the simple. Also my plan is to re-try the blueberry cheese tart, to try choclate cheese tart and lemony tart for my cikonet besday party (coming soon) hehehehe......ciao

METHOD TO REDUCE YOUR HOUSE LOAN

    Nowadays, house loan is the biggest concern for all Malaysia, correct? but no matter what or     how, we still need to buy a house (or more). Why? cause rent is the biggest wasting of money     that most people not aware too.

    yaa....it is a common things to hear, my money is not enough to but a house, to tell you the            truth money is never enough for human as long as they still alive and the neuron things still             moving in their head. 

So would like to share some tips on how to reduce installments. 

You don't have to pay extra installment. What you need to do is to refinance your home loan at the right time, and as frequent as possible.

The situation change from time to time. Example when taking up a mortgage in 2003, the banks offer very low interest rate during the first year of my mortgage. Then the second year interest rate is at BLR minus a margin (e.g. BLR - 2%). Then BLR plus a margin on the subsequent years.

At that time, the lock in period is 3-5 years depending on the different type of package you took up. If you settle the loan earlier and within the 3-5 years lock-in period, you will need to pay a 2-3% penalty.

So the trick is to refinance the mortgage when the period period is over, just to take advantage of the extremely low first year interest rate. Do not dare to try to pay on the penalty.  It is stupid to do that.

But nowadays, the situation is quite different. Most banks don't provide fixed-rate home loan anymore because they foresee that the BLR will be increased in the near future when the economy starts to boom again. However, banks still offer very attractive interest rate at BLR - 2.3 last year (2009). I can say Islamic  loan is the  best solution right now. No penalty and but you need to do some survey in order to find the right one. Dont  feel lazy to  send your application to multiple bank  eventhough you have money to pay the extra's

If you have taken up a housing loan during before 2006, it is a good chance that you will be able to get a better offer nowadays although starting 2010, Bank Negara had fixed the bank offer at BLR-1.8 to soften the competition.

What you need to do is:

FIRST - write in to your bank to ask for reduced interest rate.

Instead of paying BLR plus... get them to offer you BLR minus...

SECOND - at the same time, apply to refinance with another two banks.

Then show the offer letter from each bank to their competitors.

BUT NEVER EVER TO USE YOUR EPF MONEY TO PAY YOUR HOUSE MONTHLY PAYMENT.  You are wasting your money , eventhough your answer  is I can saved my money and put it to ASB. Common.....yup you can saved your money but EPF is still your money maaa....at least take some time to do simple calculation before you make such an idiot decision.  

For me , planning  and budgeting is the best thing that you need to do before you make any decision. Regardless what people think of your decision  (eventhough you need to pay komisen to the house developer clerk) but as long you can get a chearper house price  (+ the komisen) you still gain something. in order for you to gain something of course you need to loose something. It is a balance thing in our life. but pls make sure gain is more than to loose. Ciao

AF9 VS MENTOR

Few comments from me as a viewer

AF9 - I do like AF, but the level to watch the show getting less....so for AF9 - level is 9-9 = zero. Why?? Pls do take your time on this coming saturday and watch it. The most terrible, worst, immature, blank minded singer I ever seen through out the 8 AF so far. I am so disappointed, feel stupid to watch it and still cannot find the similar word to describe how worst the show are. ASTRO propaganda that they will search the best talent but none of them will going to make through the industry. For example Shahir, the only thing that he had for malaysian to stilll watch him in the TV is his face, but the discipline is worst. The show is getting worst year by year and thankful that some one in the ASTRO group still know how to think to shut it down next year.

Compared to Mentor, all the student are more talented but of course you cannot compare it with CT, Yuna or other professional singer but at least they sing alot MORE and MORE better than AF student. And their 'perangai' also not that childish or over react (nice words for gedikssss) at least.
